During legality issues the old player was removed today. I added a new player which has a slim design and answers perfectly to choonoftheweek.com requirements.

Masoud Fouladi Moghaddam (his real name), also known as Masoud Fuladi or Dj MaSound had arts affinities from childhood when he tried to develop his musical talent on different instruments. He recently joined Levare Recordings, a trance sub-label from Flashover Recordings founded by well known DJ & Producer Ferry Corsten. Under Levare, Masoud released his first trance track, in collaboration with Josie; the track is called “Leave it all behind” and it already has a great success being suported by the biggest DJs of the planet like Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond and many more who played the track on their weekly radio shows. More than that, Tritonal, Amurai & Jorn van Deynhoven already remixed Masoud’s new track.

Masoud also remixed for DJ Eco’s track “Staring at the sea”, remix that sounds amazing too and it was already played by Ferry Corsten on his weekly radio show, Corsten’s countdown 134 and Above & Beyond, on their Trance Around The World 304.

TRACK INFO:

Released: 08 January 2010

Label: Anjunabeats

Producer: Matan Zohar

ARTIST INFO:

DJ Matan Zohar, or Mat Zo as he is known to his fans, was born into a artistically gifted family.  His mother, an accomplished professional violinist, and his father, a famous oil painter and music lover, immersed Matan into a world of music, from classical and folk, to opera and modern synth music. By age 8, precocious Matan was already so much inspired by music that he taught himself the guitar, and decided to start a band.

After moving from the USA back to London, England, his birthplace, at age 11, Matan soon became a drummer in a jazz band, and bassist in a rock band, but after listening to such dance music artists as Daft Punk and the Chemical Brothers, their primal rhythms combined with cutting edge melodies, instrumentation, and progression moved him to a turning point in his career: electronic dance music production and DJing.

By 2006, when he was only 16 years old, Matan had his first signing of a track, but it was after he won the Baroque Remix Competition with Lustral’s “In My Life” that many world-class DJs and producers began to notice this young producer’s great talents.
By mid-2007, Mat Zo had remixed for Andy Moor, Markus Schulz, and he became a DJ household name after Tiesto hired him to remix “Driving To Heaven”, and the remix appeared on Tiesto’s internationally recognized “In Search Of Sunrise 7″ CD compilation.

Mat Zo quickly worked up the ranks to become one of the most sought after progressive dance music producers in history. He has played in such cities as Holland, Germany, Ukraine, Ibiza, India, and various cities in England.  Mat Zo’s global reach multiplied when his Zoned monthly radio program was picked up by Afterhours.fm the summer of 2008.

When Virgin Galactic were looking for some atmospheric music to herald the launch of their ground-breaking ‘SpaceShipTwo’, they turned to Above & Beyond. At an event hosted by Richard Branson in the Mojave Desert, the track chosen to accompany the official unveiling of SpaceShipTwo was Above & Beyond’s club anthem ‘Buzz‘, which was inspired by the Apollo 11 moon-landing. After the unveiling of the world’s first space tourism spacecraft, Above & Beyond performed an exclusive DJ set in front of an audience of 800 dignitaries, celebrities and soon-to-be astronauts, plus the assembled global media.
